Kings County Cinema Society: First Wed Each Month.
Kings County Cinema Society is an ongoing, roving, curated, eclectic screening series in Brooklyn NY. With a focus on classic, cult, art, and local film, they work to shine a light on film and media that lies off the tired, beaten path. The society ultimately hopes to bring together a coalition of fans, filmmakers, critics, curators and cinephiles interested in gathering, watching, and discussing. They began their cinematic reign of terror at Freddy’s Bar and Backroom in 2008, and now hold court at an array of venues across the borough.”
