9pm- Alan Curtis: Classic rock with a fresh twist. 10pm The Woodhead Ensemble & 11pm Late Night Jazz

Wed 28 Mar 2012 - 9: pm

Brooklyn, NY

9pm Alan Curtis: Classic rock with a fresh twist. Alan Curtis has quickly established himself as one of the midwest’s premier singer/songwriters with 2 top notch albums in the last 3 years. After years of fronting one of North America’s top AC/DC tribute bands, Whole Lotta Angus, Alan branched off on a solo career.  His music is introspective and has a unique quality although he has not been able to hide his classic rock roots. Although original it is impossible to not feel the influence of the Beatles, Elvis Costello, Tom Petty and the Boss in his songs. His acoustic show strips the songs down and lets the melodies and the vocals shine through.

”Alan Curtis is a master of songwriting and king of mesmerizing and beautiful lyrics that become his best trademarks. He has a familiar sound that fans can relate to”-Junior’s Cave Magazine
