This project is a musical/compositional work based upon the mathematics which were used to crack the enigma code during the second world war. Written in collaboration with the National Museum of Computing in Bletchley Park UK, it is a work of historical reflection, and musical representations of mathematical concepts while celebrating the technological triumphs of the past using creative work of beauty and interest. It is a fitting time to perform this work, as it reflects musically upon the foundation of the modern computer and the end of WWII; we are living during the 80th anniversary of the end of the war and everyone is currently pondering the rise of artificial intelligence. I believe it is especially important to share this work with a USA audience, as it celebrates the resilience, brilliance, and strength of this great nation, and how such resolve led us toward a more positive and technologically evolved society
